Recently, the 2025 Global Industrial Internet Conference was opened at the China Industrial Museum in Shenyang. Minister Li Lecheng of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Secretary Hao Peng of CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee, Governor Wang Xinwei of Liaoning Province, President Li Yizhong of the China Federation of Industrial Economics, President Xu Xiaolan of the Chinese Institute of Electronics and other leaders attended the opening ceremony. Wang Xingwei, Vice President of NEU, was invited to attend the conference on behalf of NEU. Wang Limin, Deputy General Manager of China Unicom Group, and Guo Lin, General Manager of Liaoning Unicom, also attended the conference.
At the signing ceremony of the conference, Wang Xingwei and Wang Limin respectively signed the "Strategic Cooperation Agreement between NEU and China Unicom" on behalf of NEU and China Unicom respectively. This strategic cooperation will leverage the regional advantage of China Unicom's Education Corps located in Liaoning Province. Both parties will cooperate to promote the construction of smart campus demonstration projects in areas such as campus networking, 5G+ smart education, data information sharing, technology exchange, and talent exchange, and jointly drive the innovative development of network communication, the integration of industry and education, and the collaborative innovation across industry, academia, research, and application. Both parties will jointly build a world-class enterprise with global competitiveness and a world-class university with Chinese characteristics, contribute the strength of the university and the central enterprise to the development of the country during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
